How does AviClear work?

The AviClear system’s laser treats acne at the source by selectively targeting and suppressing the sebaceous gland safely and effectively.

How long does a treatment take?

Each acne treatment session should take about 30 minutes.

How many acne treatments will be needed?

Most patients will need 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart to start seeing results.

What will the acne treatments feel like?

During treatment, you may notice a slight snapping sensation. Our patients report a pain level of 3-5 out of 10, depending on the size and depth of the pimples. As a result, our patients have not needed any pain mitigation for treatments. AviClear also uses a skin cooling system the maintains your skin’s temperature during treatment for a more comfortable experience.

What are the side effects?

Immediately after the procedure, you may see some mild redness or inflammation. Acne flare-ups can happen 1-3 weeks after treatment and these are normal. We can use our Laser Genesis treatment to help reduce acne redness and calm these flare-ups. AviClear treatments contain no chemicals or toxins and prove safe for all skin types and tones.

When will I see results?

Patients see the best results about 4-12 weeks after the final treatment session. In fact, in clinical trials 80% of patients saw at least half their Acne clear during this time.
